I have played sports my entire life. Hearing the sound of a basketball as it bounces on the parquet floor is music to my ears. Hearing the sound of the softball as it meets the tip of the bat for a hit that flies down the third baseline, is awesome. I decided to take my love of sports and intertwine it with my love for photography. It's beautiful to be able to freeze that moment in time, to see the flick of the wrist, the slide into second, third or home plate. I want to capture the golfer's beautiful twist with the golf swing, or perhaps the magnificent leap over the defense into the end zone, for the touchdown. I absolutely love photographing athletes in action. Although I photograph game day, events, sports portraits with the latest in camera FX make for some beautiful photography! The athletes love to see how cool they look, especially that these images are produced right in front of them. I'm shooting tethered from my camera to a computer screen so they get to see instant results. And then, of course I do it "behind the scenes" video reel also to go along with it. These photographs also build up the athletes' self-esteem and gives them confidence. Whether I'm photographing a Media Day or a private session, seeing their reaction makes it all worth it. I still remember the feelings I felt as an athlete when I stepped onto the basketball court or onto the softball field. Being behind the lens, it’s as if I am living vicariously through each player. What a great feeling!

"The best thing about a picture is that it never changes, even when the people in it do."
